Community Bus: Road Runner

The Road Runner operation was set up in 1989 at the suggestion of the then Bedfordshire County Council who wanted to have several Community Minibus operations to provide transport in areas where there was little or no commercial service.

Road Runner provides a regular timetabled service throughout a number of areas of North Bedfordshire which have inadequate, or no, other service.  Without this operation many residents in the small hamlets and villages who have no car would have to rely on taxi services to visit shops and doctors etc. Anyone is able to use the service and travel is free-of-charge with a Local Authority Bus Pass.

For Aspley Guise it currently operates to Bedford on a Wednesday and to Milton Keynes on the 1st Monday of every month.  For the latest timetables please follow the link in the title above.
