Upcoming preparatory works which will be taking place on Salford Road, Aspley Guise, later this month.
Salford Road will have a full road closure 24 hours a day from Monday 28 September to Friday 2 October. A signed diversion route will be in place, and we encourage motorists to allow additional time for their journeys. Please see the attached map for details of the diversion route.
Pedestrian access to Aspley Guise station will be maintained throughout the works.
The closure is required to allow us to carry out trial holes to identify and locate existing underground services within the proposed bellmouth area adjacent to Aspley Guise station. These investigations are essential to inform the design and delivery of the future works. Work on site will take place between 8am and 5pm.
