Message from the Safer Communities & Partnership team (CBC):
My colleague and I would like to offer drop-in sessions for our community groups such as Neighbourhood Watch or Community Safety Groups. These would be open to anyone who is interested in Community Safety who would like to chat with the Safer Communities Officers. It might be about issues they wish to draw our attention to, or what they might like us to offer. It would also be a chance for them to find out more about what we can already provide.
We are aware that community safety is a high public priority and can affect the quality of life for individuals and communities. By reaching these groups we hope to identify problems more quickly. Early intervention can help greatly to prevent problems from escalating and we hope that by developing a closer bond with our community groups we can help to keep Central Bedfordshire a great place to live and work.
