As you may or may not be aware, it’s Captain Tom Moore’s Birthday on Thursday 30th April. He will be 100 and has raised a staggering amount of money for the NHS by walking in his garden.
There is a lot of national and international interest, and there is likely to be a lot of singing of ‘Happy Birthday’ for him which we anticipate to be at 2005 hours on the day in question. We will be promoting all residents and well wishers to be singing from their own doors steps, and not going to his home address in the current circumstances due to Social Distancing Guidelines and Covid-19 Legislation. We will also be reminding residents of the current Government Advice.
We will be promoting our message through our social media channels, and being local we would be grateful for any support in re-enforcing or sharing this message.
