The Parish Council have decided to start up Councillor Surgeries to be held every 2 months, on a Saturday morning in Aspley Guise Village Hall, between 11am and 1pm. Initially this will be for a trial period, but if it is successful will be continued.
Residents are invited to pop in and meet the Councillors, have a cup of tea and discuss any concerns, issues or questions they may have about our village. The Councillors will answer queries there and then if possible, or if not will take your question back to the next Full Council meeting for further discussion/decision (if needed).
The sessions are designed to be informal, only 2 Councillors will be present each time, and the Council hope this will give people the opportunity to drop in and have a friendly chat.
The first session will be held on Saturday 4th April, in the downstairs committee room of the village hall with Chairman Stewart Bailey and Councillor Richard Davis. Please pop in and say hello.
