Cranfield Bridge:
1st September (late afternoon) the bridge reopened with 2 way traffic lights. Friday (4th September) 8pm, the bridge will be closed again until Sunday evening to enable the removal of the temporary utility bridge. Whilst this is taking place the contractor will also use this opportunity to carry out the new markings on the road. From next week the bridge should remain open going forwards but there is a risk of 2 way lights being put in place to assist with some of the final works.
Salford Road: level crossing inspection.
The road will be closed from 2300hrs on 31st October to 0430hrs on 1st November, 20m ether side of the level crossing. See attached for more detail. 2020 09 02 CBC8841 Salford Road
A421:
The A421 between the Eagle Farm Roundabout up to M1 Junction 13 will be closed temporarily this weekend, from 8pm on Friday until 6am on Monday (or earlier if our works are completed sooner). This closure is needed to remove the temporary utility bridge and undertake other works including carriageway surfacing and road markings. It will also be closed from Friday 11 September at 8pm until 6am on Monday 14 September (or earlier if our works are completed sooner). This closure will allow us to carry out works under where the temporary bridge was located together with more resurfacing works, safety barrier works and road markings.
